If all humans died tomorrow, would the world stop spinning, the sun stop shining, the stars stop lighting the night? No, in the grand scheme of nature and the universe, not even an eyelid would be battered. Life only matters because we choose to make it matter. Remember that, and remember that you, and you alone get to choose what is important in life.
And you don't make this choice through your words or thoughts, you make it through your actions. For me I believe family is the most important thing, which is why I spend more time with family than anyone else, and I love writing, which is why I spend more time writing than anything else.
Of course I am lucky in having a very supportive family, whose support has allowed me, and continues to allow me despite my present injury situation to be able to focus on trying to make a career as a writer.
But many times in my life have I been presented with a choice to follow a different path, choices that most often would see me leave behind my family and give up the dream of being a writer, I've never taken those paths, which is why my actions tell the story of what I hold to be most important. Family and a love of writing.
What do your actions say about what you hold most dear?
I will leave you on that question! Have a great week!
